Glucosamine is an amino sugar. This means it is made from a protein molecule mixed with a sugar molecule.

Although Glucosamine occurs naturally in the body, it’s production may decrease with age. Unfortunately, glucosamine is not easily obtained from food sources, so supplements can be safe and easy option for those who want to top up.

The Glucosamine Sulphate used by Natures Aid is guaranteed to be salt free, as we only use the 2KCl form of the product. This means that we use potassium chloride, a safe, sodium free product, to stabilise this glucosamine supplement.

Each tablet will provide 1000 mg Glucosamine Sulphate, with additional Vitamin C, which contributes to Normal Collagen Formation and the Normal Function of cartilage.
