Rich in vitamin C
Camu-camu contains the richest and most bio-available source of vitamin-C in any plant in the world. Vitamin C in its full-spectrum natural form is more potent and useful than fragmented vitamin C.
Compared to an orange, which has about 1,000 ppm of vitamin C, the camu camu berry can have concentrations as high as 50,000 ppm. That's the equivalent of about 2 grams of vitamin C per 100 grams of fresh fruit.
This means that camu camu provides around 50 times more vitamin C than orange, based on weight. It's also non-acidic in flavour.
