How it all began…
A shared vision!
In
1995, over 2000 individuals united behind a shared vision of shops that
would present a direct challenge to destructive consumerism.
The Creative Consumer Co-operative Ltd. was formed and its members
invested money to establish shops under the trading name of Out of this
World. Our shops in Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle are now successfully
providing the country’s widest range of ethically sourced goods. Nigel Clifton - took over the management of the company when it was closing down.
He is running the remaining shop at the Beeston site and continues to supply the same high quality organic foods.
