Award: "Best Established Retail Store"
That was the award handed to OOTW by a national panel of judges at the "Natural Trade Show" in Harrogate. The award acknowledges our seven years of successful trading and gives both, management and staff, great encouragement and reward for all their hard work. And like any good recipient of an award, may we take this opportunity to thank you - the customers and members - for your support. We would never have got this far without you!

Nigel Clifton, the shop manager is looking around the Nottingham area with a view to setting up a satellite shop - if anyone knows of a good location, please get in touch. If the home delivery scheme is successful in Newcastle, the Board have given the go ahead for a similar scheme to be set up and operated from the Beeston shop - watch this space! In June2002, Nigel and several customers were interviewed on the Radio 4 programme Shop Talk, and just a few days later Nigel could be heard live on Radio 5!

The shop has continued to thrive, showing an increase in sales for the last year. It will however, no longer be open on a Sunday, except at Christmas time.

Please phone the shop to check if it is open if you plan to visit on a Sunday: Tel: 0115 - 943 1311

Local organic vegetables and dairy products are now in stock. Thornhill Farm near Leeds is supply the shop directly with organic milk, butter and cream. Haywood Oaks farm is supplying local organic seasonal vegetables.

Home delivery scheme
Nigel is setting up a database of names and addresses of anyone interested in the home delivery scheme. Please contact him if you are interested, and he will get back to you when the scheme is hopefully up and running.
